Welcome to the Newton Abbot Sailing Club Web Site.

We are situated on the outskirts of the market town of Newton Abbot at the beautiful Decoy Country Park (please click here for a map) The club has its own club house and secure boat compound.

The lake, formerly an open cast quarry in the 1960's, it has an area of twelve acres and is fresh water. It's semi sheltered waters are ideal and relatively safe for any one new to sailing but still enough of a challenge for experienced sailors in racing conditions.

Club News

The new sailing season is finally here with the first race on the 7th October (see the Diary page for details). We are looking forward to some new faces in the club that we first met at the successful open days.

Fred Stone is now taking a well earned rest from the secretaries job and has handed over the position to Steve Thompson.

Newton Abbot Town Council have very kindly given the club a donation of £200 which will help the club with its expenses for the rest of this year and along with Teignbridge Council continue to support our club.
